The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior variety of clients/beneficiaries status sassa to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area daily.
